This is where I'll announce the most recent additions to my web site.
If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look
here first.

I’ve modified my knee cop into a two-piece design. The reason for this is that I used to have my one-piece knee cops made by a separate spin-molding manufacturer, but recently they’ve suffered a fire. They’ve been out of business for the past 5 months or so, always saying that the next month they’ll be back in operation. This is part of the reason that orders have been so late recently.
In order to keep my orders moving, I’ve had to design a knee cop that I can produce in my own vacuum-forming shop. After much experimentation, I’ve figured out a process that doesn’t stretch the plastic too thin. Unfortunately, this means I have to rivet a fan onto the cop, which makes the knee cop look a little less elegant. However, rest assured that the knee cop is every bit as protective as my other knee cops. The reason I'm you this is that I still have some customers out there who are expecting to receive legs based on the old design, but will insead receive the new design. If you're one of these people and you are unhappy with the new design, please contact me and we'll arrange a full refund of your purchase price.
The other reason orders have been so late is my busy family and scholastic life. With that in mind, I'm announcing the end of my involvement with production armouring, at least for the short term, and possibly forever. This last bout of orders has shown me that I am unable to meet my armouring obligations while attending full-time university. Or rather I cannot do both and be any sort of a good father/husband. I am considering passing on my business to someone else, so if you or your friends are interested in further orders, please check back here for details.
I will likely always do a little armouring for local fighters and friends, and may put some pieces up on eBay to earn a little spending money now and then, but as of right now, I am not taking any new orders from non-local fighters.
Thanks for four great years, folks, and thanks for all your support

School, which has traditionally been slow in the first part of the semester, has been far businer than I thought it would. Consequently, my orders are running later than I had hoped. Sorry for that, folks. I'm trying very hard to get your orders done. Really.
With parity between the US and Canadian dollar, I've adjusted my prices accordingly. I've also re-adjusted my prices on full arms and legs, which are each now set at $150.

My queue has been running much more slowly than I thought it would over the summer, so most orders are running later than I originally quoted. Sorry about that. See my updated queue list to see the status of your order.
For the foreseeable future, I intend to focus more on school. Thus, my time has become more valuable, which has increased my hourly rate. To reflect this, my most time-consuming products have increased in price. There is new pricing on full legs and full arms to reflect this. For now, basket hilts, elbow cops, and vambraces have all stayed the same for pricing. This may change in the future.

Yes, we're still in buisness! Waiting times these days are between 6 and 8 weeks, with smaller
orders (i.e. a basket hilt) shipping out almost immediately. I'm still trying to find time to finish my new web site, but the orders keep me pretty busy.
I've put off including links to my new products, thinking that I may as well spend that time finishing my new site (with all my new product).
I can't seem to get around to that, but I've made a commitment to myself to get it done this summer. Since I'm not taking classes this summer,
I figure I'll have enough time. Wish me luck!
June 12, 2006
My waiting times have become a little more reasonable. Most orders these days will be completed within six to eight weeks, with
smaller orders being completed a little faster. I'm hard at work creating a new web site with revised order system, so watch for that.
February 11th, 2006
I'm sorry to say that I have to push my waiting times back.
With the number of orders I'm receiving, coupled with a full-time job,
part-time university classes and the demands of new fatherhood, I'm just
too busy to get orders done in as short a time as I'd like.
Therefore, until further notice, new orders will take at
least 6 months for delivery.
Please know that this is not a permenant change. I expect waiting times
to decrease back down to 6 weeks after my 6-month term position (my full-time
job) ends and I return to school.

Yes, I'm still in business! I've been the world's worst
webmaster when it came to updating this site, but yes, I'm still making
armour. Most wait times these days are around 6 weeks.
New product includes:
- half gauntlets
- shoulder cops
- articulating shoulders
- gorgets
Watch for the new-imroved web site coming soon. It'll have photos of
all the new stuff!

I've been busy. So busy that I haven't had much time for any R&D.
I did manage to get a few things done, though. Round-cop
legs, full plastic arms and
full covered arms are now available.
February 18, 2004
Added vambraces to the arm armour section. Added photos of both basic
and suede covered.
February 16, 2004
I've been getting many questions about legs, so I've been looking into
that. I've come up with a style of leg armour patterned off the "Lost
Viking leg" which many of my customers from Avacal and An Tir have
already seen. The difference is that my knee cop is a little flatter,
as you can see in the photos. I'll hopefully be getting in more rounded
cops from the Lost Vikings soon, so if you're after a knee that has a
more rounded cop, stay tuned.
I've got a basket hilt design made. Check out the photos.
February 10, 2004
Added photos of suede covered elbows. I'm very close to a plastic basket
hilt design. Photos to come.
January 29, 2004
Added photos of articulating elbows. I'm in the process of covering
an elbow in suede.
January 9, 2004
The Third incarnation of the Low Profile Gear.com page is created.
Articulated elbow pictures still on the way.
I'm still working on prototypes of:
- archers legs
- heavy legs
- vambraces
- demi-gauntlets
- gorgets
- body armor
- shoulder protection

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Articulated Elbows have been completed
and are ready to go ...pictures coming soon.
The archers leg is coming along nicely and I will keep
you updated on the progress
I have been doing some work on Vambraces and Basket Hilts.
The basket hilts are still going thru the R&D phase, but the Vambraces
are looking good.
Keep checking back for further updates!
