Plastic Leg Armour - Round Cops

This is the second piece in my leg armour line. This leg harness features a thicker knee (around .5" at the front) for added protection. Even with the thicker knee cop, this set is still much lighter than steel.
The cuisse, lammes and greaves are made from 1/8" High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), which meets or beats the Society standard for rigid material. The articulation is a lacing-style, which has many benefits over the traditional riveted style:
- it's extremely easy to repair
- it's easy to see if maintenance will soon be required (a fraying lace is easier to spot than an over-worked rivet)
- it's easy to adjust
This leg harness is patterned off of the ingenious Lost Viking style of leg armour, which many of our Avacal and An Tir customers will recognize.

Recommendations
for padding |
| For thigh padding, I recommend that the grieve be padded with standard closed-cell foam to take the sting out of leg shots. For knee padding, I've found that standard knee pads (volleyball knee pads, etc) work fine. |
