Hi all, I am i the market for the following:
In no particular order and no particular priority:
Someone to sew me some *good* 1350'ish english/scottish garb namely
Tunics, cotehardie, brais, hosen
Turnshoes size 9.5 ish both for wear and combat (i.e. no tread and tread)
Gamboised cuisses with pockets for splints on the inside. these must be of several layers of linen (like 6) with significant cotton padding sewn in between the two layers of 6 ply linen.
Linen charles du blois aketon/gambeson. Same style of construction as above.
Linen arming doublet for "pointing" my harness.
Riveted mail camail/aventail x two.
Kidney pouch
Sole leather or gorget
What have you?
I am getting back into the game again and wish to do so "better" I am a 14th century minor Scot noble in need of soft kit and accessories. My 15 y/o son wants to start as well. I think I have most of his armour looked after but need some Viking fighting clothes. He wishes to be norse/germanic so viking soft kit would be cool to, althuogh i do have some generic SCA garb for him as well.
Thanks!
