Here we have the first pattern of basket hilt I'm producing. It's made from 1/4" rigid plastic, which meets or beats the SCA's standard for rigid material.

This basket hilt weighs in at under 12 ounces, or just over 300 grams. The hole(s) are 1.5" in diameter.

I'm aware that different fighters like to attach their basket hilts different ways, so I offer two styles of this hilt. I offer a solid bottom for those who prefer to screw in through the bottom of their sword, and I offer a notched bottom for those who prefer to attach a bottom bracket. The first style is the style pictured above.

I'm currently experimenting with other designs of basket hilt. Check back frequently for more updates.

sizing information
	These basket hilts come in one size. The person who's hand is shown in the photos is a big guy (6'2" and over 250 lbs) and the hilt fits his hand just fine. If you've got monster hands, or require a smaller hilt, please contact us for more information.
